| Sometimes, the things I love to do the most I also tend to hate the most. The rollercoaster ride I am currently on is filled with mixed emotions. And when your life revolves around challenging the system in place and facilitating student empowerment and holistic development through political and social awareness, cultural relevancy and community consciousness...you can't help but feel a little bogged down. But the passion is incapable of ever dying down. Instead, it just makes me jump right back on this ride, cycling 'round and 'round...

| The Volksgarten.
Somehow we partied with The Game in Vienna. Odd place to do so. But apparently Compton was in the house. It was nice to get a little bit of hip hop in my life aside from the electronica and disko. However, it was awkward how The Game was bashing 50 Cent in Vienna. These people probably didn't understand half the things he was screaming in the mic. Oh, the white girl on the left was his "girl" for the night. I felt bad for her--being thrusted in public. But I guess she enjoyed it.

| Deutschland ist fantastisch! Aber hier wird die Welt in Verwirrung gebracht. Kinder trinken mit fünf jahre alt! Das ist sehr heiß.Wir studieren zu viele und uber bier trinken. Ich kann nicht seit den nächsten zwei Wochen in Berlin warten. Das sollte wirklich lustig sein.

| Day 2
Arrive in London Heathrow and connect to Vienna.
So like a dummy, I went to exchange money and I didn't really know how much I should get and pulled out way too much. I forgot that I was at the London airport and instead of switching my money to Euros, I got pounds. So here I am with 100 pounds which is pretty much 200 US dollars. Double the amount! Sucks. But I got it changed from pounds to Euros so it wasn't too bad.
When we arrived in Vienna, I had an Air Force One moment where we exit from the airplane to the floor instead of a gate. I had that whole breeze in the hair effect. It was really tight! Going down the stairs felt amazing. What an entrance right??
So I arrive at about 1030pm. I wasn't too sure if I should just taxi to the hotel or take public transportation since it was so late. But I go for public transportation anyway. The CAT (City Airport Train) was a really smooth ride. It took me right into central Vienna where I took the U-Bahn to the hotel. Mind you I have hella luggage. This Russian man helped me carry my stuff until I got on the U-Bahn, which could have been really creepy but wasn't. After I get off of the subway, I did not know which direction I was suppose to go in. These two guys tried to point me in the direction but I had too much luggage so I take the taxi down 3 blocks for a total of 3,20 Euros. Great deal! So my ride home was a total of 12,20Euros. Tight.
Vienna seems like it should be creepy since I arrived so late and it was completely dark but according to my research, it's the second safest city in the world. = ) Sehr gut!

Day 3
The word to sum up the day=Jetlag.
With Austria 10 hours ahead of California time, adjusting my sleep schedule is increasingly difficult maximizing my nighttime sleep at a total of 2hours and 30minutes. Attempting to last the day waking at fourthirtyAM is not easy.
